Drummer Boy
Remember those young boys back in the 18th century that played the drum during the battles? PTclass7A pays them a small tribute in an arrangement for Orff instruments and boomwhackers of a little piano piece called "Drummer Boy".
War Memorials
In Espinho (Portugal) there's a War Memorial to all those who have perished during the World War I (1914-1918) in France and in Africa. In Wroclaw (Poland) you can visit the Racławice Panorama. «It's a monumental cycloramic painting (15×114 meter) depicting the Battle
of Racławice, during the Kościuszko Uprising. [...] The panorama stands in a
circular fashion and, with the viewer in the center, presents different scenes
at various viewing angles. A special kind of perspective used in the painting
and additional effects (lighting, artificial terrain) create a feeling of
reality». in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rac%C5%82awice_Panorama
Fights and battles in movies
Finnish boys from class 6A and Leevi from class 5A found out movies where battles, fights and other conflicts are present. They also made a few drawings on the computer about this theme. In the meantime, PTclass8B was preparing a TV news flash about war scenaries around the world but unfortunately they didn't have the time to finish it.
