Composers & Songwriters
Music couldn't 'live' without people. Composers and songwriters are obviously on the front row of this important group. Check out our "Wall of Fame" and get to know some of these men and women.

Some European Composers
Portuguese students learned about the European composers. In teacher Carlos Gouveia's History lessons, PTclass6D studied the 18th century. Students were impressed by Mozart's music and decided to make some nice drawings and paintings about this well-know composer while PTclass7D preferred making 'Pizaps' about several other composers and musicians.

Frederic Chopin (1810-1849)

Polish students loved the "Raindrop Prelude" Chopin wrote near their school so they made a little research about his life.
Chopin's Timeline
|
It was interesting for us to learn why Chopin had to leave Poland, his beloved country. We have learn that Chopin's visit to Valldemossa in Mallorca didn't improve his health as it was planned because of bad weather conditions. But, his famous "Raindrop Prelude" was composed there. Reading Chopin's biography we decided to present it on a timeline, which we found not only useful but entertaining at the same time. We used Timetoast. | Polish team |
